The sculpture, meticulously arranged within its frame, incorporates a diverse array of elements all tied to the metaphor of the rose: wooden reliefs, verses, branches, specimens, and hand-drawn illustrations. What makes this piece truly remarkable is the unexpected manner in which these elements converge, with the reliefs serving as the central thread. Their juxtaposition gives rise to fresh contexts and introduces a dynamic interplay—between images and words, handmade and printed items, and the realms of still life and industrial materials.

This composition, comprising objects and scenes, represents a reinterpretation of Stéphane Mallarmé's experimental poem, divorcing itself from the literal meanings of words and embracing the essence of rhythm. Much like Gertrude Stein's famous quote, 'A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose,' this repetition mirrors the convergence of implicit meanings of the rose across all these objects. In the end, all elements converge into a single essence, resounding in perpetual harmony. It's safe to say that, in the last century, no one has captured the essence of the red rose with such vibrant clarity as seen in this artwork.
